Saiful is a passionate HR professional with 14 years of diverse experience in Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals and FMCG industries. In 2008, he started his career with Warid Telecom (later Airtel) as Management Trainee HR. Throughout his tenure in Airtel, Saiful has worked on multiple roles in various stints. Besides, he was a key member in easing the transition from Warid to Airtel following the acquisition. Saiful led major organizational restructuring as HR Business Partner and employer branding strategy which helped Airtel secure the second most preferred employer amongst telecom companies as per Nielsen’s campus survey despite being no 4 company (revenue size).

Saiful joined GSK in 2016 as HR Generalist & Rewards Lead and in February 2019, he took over as Country HR Head of GSK Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar. Improvements in Employee Management, controlling key talent attrition, major salary restructuring and adoption of rating less performance management framework are some of his notable achievements during his tenure at the organization. He played a major role in the leadership team that oversaw the transition of GSK’s business to Unilever and the establishment of a new organization for GSK’s retained business. Saiful was the Head of HR at Unilever Consumer Care Ltd prior to his consulting career. He has also led the HR project for setting up the new organization Ekaterra, Unilever’s tea business in Bangladesh.
